Spacious family home for up to 10 guests boasting a 180 degree lake view over the island of Comacina located in sun kissed Sala, one of the most sought after villages here on Lake Como. The home affords breathtaking lake views inside, expertly constructed boasting ample space for large families or groups to relax and unwind in comfort. Take in the spectacular views from your private terrace, watch the sunrise as your breakfast to the lake and mountain backdrop, top of your tan on the terrace or sip and aperitif on the luxury garden furniture at sunset.Alternatively, unwind in either the outdoor pool or the indoor communal spa, pool and sauna at the residence. Three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, and an additional living area with double sofa bed (walk through room to access one of the double bedrooms). The home can sleep up to ten guests.

The home is conveniently located to reach the village of Sala Comacina with its pretty lake front and typical italian village life. Guests enjoy the stroll to the lake to dine and enjoy delicious local italian dishes and wonderful wines. Sala is home to an excellent wine bar, superb butcher with the freshest cuts, bakery and convenience store and cafe bars. The location of the residence means you are just a short drive to Lenno for the beach, ferry and supermarket. Less than 5 minutes by car. In less than 3 minutes walk from the property here in Sala Comacina, a lido with beach volley, basketball area, 5-a-side football, restaurant and beach.
In Sala Comacina there is another beach and a ferry station also. Taxi boat to the island.
Just a few of the highlights our guests love include Villa Balbianello, 007 Casino Royale. Como city, 30 minutes from the residence, Bellagio, just a ferry ride away. The cable car to Pigra with breathtaking views over Como is less than a 10 minute drive. Mountaineers and cyclists will enjoy the majestic mountains to explore. Further afield, trips to the glitzy town San Moritz are popular or for the more adventurous, Monte Generoso offers mountain top and lake scenery that a sight to behold. The city of Milan is just an hours drive as is outlet shopping at Fox Town in Mendrisio over the Swiss border.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was clean, neat and orderly. Matteo was the perfect host. The only issue was the Wi-Fi downstairs.

Matteo is an incredible host and welcomed our big family with a homely spirit.
A beautiful apartment with quite a unique view of Lake Como. The spa/ pool is great for the family and aside from the view, is one of the best features of this apartment! I also enjoyed making coffee with the Moka pot 
Matteo was great at providing local recommendations and we enjoyed all of his advice. From hiking Mount Generoso (to see both Switzerland & Italy!) to catching the ferry to Varenna, he gave us some really useful pointers to enjoy our trip.
The apartment does have a tight approach but Matteo provides adequate instructions to reach the property.
Matteo was also easily contactable to call for any issues we had.

“We had a beautiful stay. The view is stunning you can’t get enough of it. Nice pools and jacuzzi!
The check in was very smooth and very flexible for the time of arrival.
The kitchen is a little bit small for 10 people if you like to cook but it’s not such a big deal.
Overall we loved everything and Matteo who welcomed us gave all the informations and recommendations needed.

“A group of us spent a few days in this beautiful apartment in Sala Comacina. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has incredible views of the lake.
We really enjoyed our time here, from checking out the wonderful restaurants our host recommended to enjoying some relaxing time in the spa that’s located in the apartment complex (who would say no to a sauna after a long day of walking and touristing?).
Our only complaint was the lack of wifi in some of the rooms, but the host said that they would have someone come in to fix the situation so that should no longer be a problem for the next guest.

We stayed at Sala Comacina with close friends and our children (in total 4 adults and 3 children). The location is amazing, such a beautiful view. The apartment is spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. The walk down to Sala Comacina is a series of staircases and was easy to navigate (but keep this in mind if you’re someone with mobility difficulties, you’ll need a car).
“Some useful info for future guests:
– you’ll need to bring shampoo, conditioner, laundry powder, dishwashing tablets, dishwasher liquid, bin liners and kitchen sponge. If you happen to be there in the next few weeks, we have left some for you. There were none when we got there.
– “Italian” is actually someone in the UK. Locally it’s Matteo (or his brother) who is the host and does your check in. Odd situation that made me nervous initially, but it functioned seamlessly and wasn’t an issue.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would return again. Thank you Matteo for a lovely holiday!”

“Great location, good communication”We stayed in Sala Comicina 4 relatives in their 70’s and 80’s and our kids. Matteo provided excellent directions to the property along with videos describing the how to get there and enter. The indoor parking was large enough to accommodate our 9 passenger van (though negotiating the tight turn from the road to the driveway required some back and forth). The main living area and upstairs bedrooms are air conditioned. There is an indoor pool and hot tub in a rec area. There is also an outdoor pool wthe a view of the lake. Lake views are stunning. The house connects to the Lake Como Greenway so you can walk out the yard and follow the path (a nice bonus). If you plan on cooking you will need to buy oil and herbs and spices.
